The Unregistered Runners.

On this weekend, I read the East and Bays Courier newspaper. I read a letter by a disappointed Tsana Plessius from Glen Innes. She was complaining because on Sunday there was Round the Bay Fun Run at the waterfront. They estimate that there were 70,000 people or more who came along but there were only 42,000 registered. 28,000 people ran with out registration and paying. Even though  these people cheated, they still raised about $300,000. That money is all for cancer research to help people in the hospital. New Zealand is a generous and helpful nation and we can prove it again next year.

My Similies

She was pretty as a princess.
It was as old as my grandmothers bike.
He took off like the fastest  jet in the World.
The pig smelt like the rotten food.
The old man was as mean as my uncle.
My grandmother was as gentle as a butterfly.
He was as talented as Daniel Carter.
The boy ran like a cheetah.
My pancakes tasted like blueberries.
His room was as messy as my room.
It was as easy as year 1 works.
She was slow as a snail.
It was as light as a feather.
It was as cold as the North Bowl.

Metaphor

He was a giant on the football field.
Falling leaves are butterflies in the breeze.
He looked handsome on the television.
She was naughty like my brother.
The internet was slow like the snail.
His teeth was white like my pencil.
The lion is the king of the jungle.

Dark and rainy morning

Dark clouds, rainy day and a floody morning. I woke up and had a bowl of cereal with yummy creamy and tasty milk. I looked outside and I saw a little and tiny trip of rain.
