Netball Session Discription.

Walking out to our netball session was an exciting feeling. Listening to the birds sing and seeing the sun trying to appear from the back of the dark damp cloud made me want to play even more and keep warm. It was a good day to play netball.

As we walked we were dead quiet listening to the birds sing. All we could hear was the wind rushing on our faces and the children whispering about their work. “Ok room 10 line up in a straight line PLEASE” shouted Gina. We all did what we were told. “Right, today we are learning how to step, pass and shoot” Gina said.  We were divided into groups from last week. Bulldogs and Outlaws. In the teams we had to run up, fake and step, then we had to receive the ball from the centre and then had to pass it to the goal shoot who then shoots the ball in. Points were awarded for the number of goals made. Everyone in the teams were cheering, screaming and supporting each other to not give up even though they did not get the ball.

Week 2 Netball Lesson.

It was a bright sunny day and we walk out to have our netball lessons. The instructor teach us how to defend and step. We looked like animated cartoons trying to get the ball off our attackers. After that we played a chest pass game. We were divided into groups. Our group’s name was outlaws and the other teams name was bulldogs. We all played well and after the game bulldogs won.

I found it fun and interesting. I learnt how to defend properly and step like the netball way.

Netball Lesson.

Yay, we are going netball. Room ten was the first one to go to the netball lesson. It was our first time this year having netball lessons.
First she told us how to do chest pass and bounce pass. When people was yelling and screaming, I knew they were having heaps of  fun.

Our first lesson was an amazing experience to us and I found it  exciting too.
